Disable task manager (GPO)

FI_Post_Win11

In this post I will show how you can disable access to the task manager on your Windows 11 workstation SOE. This is a Group Policy setting that we can apply to prevent users accessing the task manager.

Create a GPO & apply it to the OU containing your user objects.
Edit the GPO & navigate to the following location:

User Configuration > Policies > Administrative Templates > System > CTRL +ALT + DEL Options

Policy: Remove Task Manager
Action: Enable

At this point, run a gpupdate /force on your workstation & reboot for the policy to apply.
