
In this post I will show how you can remove the history of recently opened documents within file explorer. This is a Group Policy setting that we can apply to hide recently opened documents within your Windows 11 SOE.
Create a GPO & apply it to the OU containing your user objects.
Edit the GPO & navigate to the following location:
User Configuration > Policies > Administrative Templates > Start Menu and Taskbar
Policy: Do not keep history of recently opened documents
Action: Enable

At this point, run a gpupdate /force on your workstation & reboot for the policy to apply.
