
In this post I will show how you can remove the mapped drive options from within File Explorer. This is a Group Policy setting that we can apply to prevent users accessing these features.
Create a GPO & apply it to the OU containing your user objects.
Edit the GPO & navigate to the following location:
User Configuration > Policies > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > File Explorer
Policy: Remove “Map Network Drive” and “Disconnect Network Drive”
Action: Enable

At this point, run a gpupdate /force on your workstation & reboot for the policy to apply.
